We have several levels of accommodation including Homestay, Bed & Breakfast,  farmstay, Stay with a indigenous family.

Homestay is an opportunity to live in a friendly home with an Peruvian family located in safe and nice areas. You will be able to experience the Peruvian  lifestyle and culture up close, and learn about the customs and traditions. You will feel safe in a family environment, which is just like staying in a second home in Soth America.

You will have a clean private room in a home of a welcoming family where native Spanish  is spoken ( but anybody in the family speek English too) . Our families provide not just lodging but also understand the problems of being far away from home in a strange but exciting country and are very supportive. They are dedicated to make your stay in Peru a truly enjoyable and enriching experience.

All our families are very carefully selected with respect to safety of neighborhoods, proximity to public transportation and welcoming ability of the host family. Through our homestay program, lifetime friendships are being created all the time resulting in a greater mutual understanding and awareness of each other’s culture.

Another important thing to realize is that both the families and houses in the Peru Homestay program come in different sizes and shapes.  Your homestay accommodations will vary depending upon the homestay family. In addition, you may be in a homestay with a married couple with or without children, a single parent with children, a retired couple whose children are grown, or a single person.  You can feel comfortable knowing that your homestay family or host is there to help you when you need it. 

 

Our homestay coordinator will match you with a homestay that suits your personal needs. Some students have special requests concerning religion, diet, allergies, etc.
